Dealer (Shift-Patterns)
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a regulated Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Dealer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for the daily management and monitoring of the Trading Platforms as well as performing routine monitoring tasks to ascertain system performance and optimizing system parameters when needed. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Finance, Mathematics, or another related field with a relevant CySEC Certification (Advanced or Basic). You will possess at least 2+ years experience in a similar role and proven understanding of the financial and capital markets will be considered a significant advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must. The client offers an attractive remuneration package, including a Provident Fund Scheme, Group Medical Scheme, Annual Bonuses, and Hybrid working conditions. Rotational shift patterns apply for this position.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Daily management and monitoring of the Trading
Platforms.
- Performing routine monitoring tasks to ascertain
system performance and optimizing system parameters when needed.
- Reviewing client accounts upon requests relating
to trading activity and/or platform performance and providing resolution
for such inquiries.
- Executing client orders and assisting clients
with inquiries.
- Monitoring exposure due to trading activity and
provision of relevant reports when required.
- Following the relevant processes and procedures
as per the Company’s internal operations manual and the applicable laws
and directives.
- Providing support to the Chief Dealer and Chief
Operations Officer.
- Keeping up to date with market information and
preparation of market reports.
- Complying with internal company policies and
procedures.
- Undertaking any other related tasks assigned by
management.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, or
other related field.
- Basic or Advanced Certification of the Cyprus
Securities & Exchange Commission.
- At least 2+ years experience in a similar role.
- Experience in FX and commodities trading and
hedging is a must.
- Good knowledge of the regulatory regime for
financial markets and investment firms.
- Good and proven understanding of the financial
and capital markets will be considered a significant advantage.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication
skills, both verbal and written.
- Computer literacy and ability to work
simultaneously with a variety of systems.
- Dynamic and flexible with strong attention to
detail.

shift patterns (24/7).
