Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain batch and incremental ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build ingestion processes from APIs and relational databases.
• Implement transformation logic within the Data Warehouse.
• Contribute to data quality validation, monitoring, and auditability.
• Assist with containerized and automated workflows (Docker-based environments).
• Collaborate with source system teams and business stakeholders to clarify data structures and requirements.
• Support schema evolution and controlled deployments.
• Document pipeline logic and technical decisions.

Key Skills/Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or backend development.
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Solid working knowledge of Python.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and incremental loading principles.
• Experience working with relational databases and APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong engineering fundamentals.
• Structured and detail-oriented approach.
• Comfortable learning new technologies.
• Effective communicator when working with technical and business stakeholders.
• Able to navigate technical systems holistically, even if not previously exposed to every tool in the stack.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
• Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Awareness of secure data handling and access control principles.
