CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique law firm offering clients a range of legal services including Corporate, real estate, litigation, and shipping law, we are seeking to recruit a Corporate Lawyer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As part of your role, you will review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, as well as provide expert legal advice on the establishment, administration, restructuring and dissolution of companies. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, who are full members of the Cyprus Bar Association, and possess 2+ years’ post qualification experience practicing law in Cyprus. Experience in corporate and/or shipping law will be considered an advantage, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration package based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide array of legal documents including but not limited to sale agreements, share purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, loan agreements, commercial agreements.
  • Providing expert legal advice and services on the establishment, administration, restructuring and dissolution of companies.
  • Drafting of legal opinions on diverse legal matters.
  • Reviewing, drafting, and submitting court applications and representing clients in court as needed.
  • Liaising with various public authorities (Registrar of Companies, Land Registry, Tax office etc).
  • Supporting company’s corporate procedures.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Undergraduate degree in Law (LLB).
  • Holders of an LLM are encouraged to apply.
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience practicing law in Cyprus.
  • Experience in corporate or shipping law will be highly valued.
  • Strong ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle complex tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Effective team player.
