CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected provider of Corporate & Fiduciary Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Corporate Lawyer to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Corporate Lawyer, you will be responsible for drafting a range of corporate and commercial documents, reviewing and commenting on legal transactions, and conduction legal due diligence. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, who are ideally full members of the Cyprus Bar Association, and possess approximately 3+ years of relevant, post-qualification experience in Corporate and Commercial Law, with exposure to international clients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English are a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration package based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary, 22 days of annual leave and Friday afternoon off.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Advise on and draft a variety of corporate and commercial documents including agreements, resolutions and Power of Attorney. 
  • Reviewing and commenting on transaction and/or legal documents from Cyprus law perspective.
  • Conduct legal due diligence in connection with transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with Cyprus Companies Law, EU regulations, and applicable international standards.
  • Incorporation of companies in Cyprus and other various jurisdictions.
  • Advise internal departments and clients on cross-border transactions, corporate tax structures, and international commercial agreements.
  • Review, negotiate, and draft commercial contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreement, property purchase agreements.

Key Skills/Experience:  

  • University degree in Law from a recognized institution (LLB or equivalent).
  • Members of the Cyprus Bar Association are encouraged to apply.
  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law, with exposure to international clients.
  • Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
