CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Law Firm offering a range of services in the areas of Corporate Law , Commercial Law, Dispute Resolution and Corporate Services, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Corporate Lawyer, you will primarily be responsible for proving legal advice to clients on a range of corporate and commercial matters, including compliance, contracts, and governance. Our client is seeking applicants who hold an LLB, who are members of the Cyprus Bar Association. You will need to possess approximately 3+ years of proven experience in Corporate Law, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters, including compliance, contracts, and governance.
  • Draft and review a variety of commercial agreements.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and transactional documentation.
  • Advise on intellectual property matters (trademarks, copyrights, patents, IT Business, IPBox).
  • Prepare and submit filings to the Registrar of Companies (company registration, strike-off, share capital increase/reduction, redomiciliation of companies and other related applications).
  • Maintain corporate records and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Conduct legal research to support decision-making.
  • Cyprus Trust administration.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
  • Master’s degree or LLM is a plus.
  • LLM holders are encouraged to apply.
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
  • Approximately 3+ years of experience in Corporate Law is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of Cyprus legal frameworks.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High ethical standards and sound judgment.
  • Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English.
