CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique Law Firm specialising in the areas of Corporate & Shipping Law, we are seeking to recruit a Corporate Lawyer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various legal documents, such as sale agreements, share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, loan agreements, and other commercial contracts, as well as providing expert legal advice and services on the establishment, administration, restructuring and dissolution of companies. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, who are full members of the Cyprus Bar Association. You should possess approximately 3+ years of post-qualification experience, with specific experience in Corporate and/or Shipping Law considered highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English are a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration package based on skills and experience, as well as some flexibility with working hours.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide array of legal documents including but not limited to sale agreements, share purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, loan agreements, commercial agreements.
  • Providing expert legal advice and services on the establishment, administration, restructuring and dissolution of companies.
  • Drafting of legal opinions on diverse corporate matters.
  • Preparing various types of court documents (mostly on corporate matters) and representing clients in court if required.  
  • Supporting the company’s corporate procedures.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Educated to degree level in Law, with holders of an LLM encouraged to apply.
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
  • Approximately 3+ years of post-qualification experience is essential.
  • Experience in corporate and/or shipping law is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to work independently, and as a part of a team.
  • Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and verbal.  
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle complex tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
