Construction Supervisor
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected company operating in the Construction & Real Estate sectors, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Construction Supervisor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Construction Supervisor, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field, who possess approximately 5+ years of proven experience supervising and managing construction projects onsite. You will need to hold in-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety standards and regulations, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervision and management of
daily operations at the construction site.
- Monitoring and ensuring the
progress of works and recording daily reports.
- Checking and ensuring adherence
to safety and health measures at the site.
- Managing work teams and
assigning their tasks.
- Collaborating with engineers,
architects, and other professionals to resolve technical issues.
- Coordinating with
subcontractors and suppliers.
- Inspecting the quality of
materials and equipment used at the site.
- Coordinating deliveries and
dispatches of materials and tools.
- Reading and implementing
technical drawings and specifications.
Key Skills/Experience:
- An academic background in a
relevant field is highly desirable.
- Approximately 5+ years of
experience in Construction Management related roles is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of
construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
- Proven track record of
successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Excellent leadership,
communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and
multitasking abilities to manage complex projects.
- Strong problem-solving and
decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and
negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills in the Greek and English languages.
