CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established international company specialising in the development, production and distribution of sensors and measurement electronics for a range of industry sectors, we are seeking to recruit a Commercial Assistant to join their growing team based in the Larnaca district. As a Commercial Assistant, you will provide key administrative support to the sales team, including providing telephone and written support to existing and new customers, processing enquiries, and queries, as well as preparing and following up on quotations. You will ideally possess proven experience in a similar role, and have some knowledge and experience of basic sales processes and concepts. Excellent organisation skills are essential, along with strong knowledge of MS Office applications. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience, along with Hybrid working options.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • General administrative and support tasks.
  • Providing telephone and written support to existing and new customers.
  • Processing enquiries, complaints, and queries.
  • Coordinating appointments with customers and field staff.
  • Preparing and following up on quotations.
  • Entering and processing orders in the ERP system.
  • Preparing customer appointments and sales documents.
  • Maintaining customer data.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Holder of a University degree in Business Management, Business Administration and/or Diplomas or certificates in Secretarial studies will be considered an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with basic sales processes and concepts.
  • Fast learner with a proactive approach to tasks and learning new tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documents.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changes.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles.
  • Proficient in using task management tools to stay organized.
  • Confident user of MS Office applications.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems is desirable.
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new software applications.
