CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly regarded Investment Firm with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Client Onboarding Specialist to join their growing team. As a Client Onboarding Specialist, you will primarily be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, carrying out essential onboarding checks to ensure compliance with both internal and external procedures and regulations. Our client is seeking applicants who possess proven experience in a relevant role gained working in Financial Service, with knowledge of AML & KYC procedures considered a significant advantage. Fluency in verbal and written English is essential; with any knowledge of Russian considered a significant advantage. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients which involves initial analysis of constitutional documents, structure, financial statements, adverse media search, assistance in preparation of economic profiles, risk assessment, data maintenance both in electronic & hard copy form.
  • Constant support of activities of the internal departments and units.
  • Maintenance of internal & external systems.
  • Arranging the execution of agreements with customers and providers.
  • Maintaining electronic document workflow relating to customers/counterparties.
  • Updating Clients KYC files & liaison with the Clients in this regard.
  • Administrative support.
  • Participating in various projects of the department.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Higher education in a relevant field is desirable.
  • Work experience in the financial markets in client relationships/client onboarding.
  • Knowledge of the financial markets and Anti Money Laundering (AML) & KYC rules will be a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English. Fluency in Russian will be a plus.
  • Able to multi-task effectively.
  • Able to work independently with strong attention to accuracy and detail and well organized with excellent documentation skills.
