CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit, Accounting, Tax & Advisory services, and a licensed member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Client Bookkeeper to join their growing team based in Larnaca. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will handle a range of accounting and bookkeeping duties on behalf of a portfolio of clients. We are seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in a relevant field, who possess at least 6+ months of previous experience in a relevant role. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and any prior experience working with E-Soft accounting software will be considered a plus. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, as well as hybrid working options. Working hours are from 08:30 – 17:30 from Monday to Thursday, and from 08:30 – 14:30 each Friday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Preparation of accounting records.
  • Preparation of periodic management accounts and other reports tailored to the specific needs of clients.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES returns.
  • Preparation of monthly payroll calculations.
  • Preparation of monthly payroll forms for submission with the Social Insurance Office and Tax Authorities.
  • Assistance with the handling of TAX and VAT matters with the Authorities.
  • Direct communication with clients.
  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Economics).
  • At least 6+ months of experience in a relevant role is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of English & Greek languages (written and spoken)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of E-Soft accounting software will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
