CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an independent firm of Certified Public Accountants, Auditors and Business Advisors, regulated by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), we are seeking to recruit a Client Bookkeeper to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Client Bookkeeper, you will handle a range of accounting and bookkeeping duties on behalf of a portfolio of clients. Your duties will include completing bookkeeping entries in the accounting software, carrying our various reconciliations, preparing VAT, payroll, and more! Our client is seeking applicants who possess approximately 2 years of experience in a similar position, with knowledge of both Greek and English considered essential. Holders of the LCCI Higher or any other relevant accounting qualification are encouraged to apply, and you will need to be a confident user of MS Office, with previous experience working with accounting software considered an advantage. An attractive salary is on offer based on skills and experience, and working hours are from 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Bookkeeping entries and maintaining proper records of clients’ books in the accounting software.
  • Reconciliation of various accounts, creditors, and bank reconciliations.
  • Preparation and reconciliation of VAT.
  • Payroll preparation.
  • Communication with clients.
  • Collaboration with the Audit Team.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • An academic background in a relevant field is desirable.
  • Holders of the LCCI Higher, or any other relevant accounting qualification are encouraged to apply.
  • Approximately 2 years of previous experience in a similar position is a must.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Any prior experience working with accounting software is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and develop.
