Client Accountant
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit, Accounting, Tax and Advisory services, and licenced by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team. As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for providing a range of accounting and bookkeeping services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Your role will include preparing and submitting VAT & VIES returns, carrying out payroll submissions, and preparing Management Accounts. An academic background in a relevant field of study is desirable, and holders of the LCCI Higher accounting certification, or similar are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess at least 1+ year of relevant experience, and be fluent in both Greek and English. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer based on skills and experience, including a 13th salary, and hybrid working options after the completion of the probationary period.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping for a range of
clients.
- VAT/VIES returns.
- Payroll submissions.
- Management accounts &
financial reporting.
- Support audit and tax teams.
- Client communication & compliance tasks.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting,
Finance, or another related field is desirable.
- Holders of the LCCI Higher or
similar are encouraged to apply.
- At least 1+ year of experience
in a relevant position is essential.
- Strong English & Greek
communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office
applications, including Excel.
- Detail-oriented and
team-focused.
- Knowledge of accounting
software including Caseware is desirable.
- Any prior experience in the
audit field will be considered a plus.
- Understanding of Cyprus tax and payroll obligations, including relevant submissions will be considered an advantage.
