Client Accountant
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Client Accountant, you will provide clients with a range of accounting and bookkeeping services, including the preparation and submission of VAT & VIES returns, as well as bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar, and holders of the LCCI Higher accounting certification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess approximately 2+ years experience in a similar accounting role, with any knowledge of E-soft accounting software considered an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping – Accounting
records for local and offshore companies.
- Bank Reconciliations.
- Debtors/Creditors
reconciliations.
- Completion of VAT and VIES
returns.
- Social Insurance, PAYE, Defence
tax payments.
- Registration of companies to Inland revenue, VAT and VIES.
Key Skills/Experience:
- A degree in Accounting or LCCI
Higher qualification.
- 2+ years of experience in
Accounting.
- Experience in Corporate
Administration will be an advantage, but not essential.
- Knowledge of E-soft accounting
Software would be an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken
English and Greek.
- Experience in Cyprus Stock Exchange reporting requirements will be considered as an additional advantage.
