Client Accountant
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Professional Services, including the provision of Tax and Accounting related services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As part of your role, you will be responsible for full scope accounting preparation for local and international clients, as well as VAT returns preparation and submission. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar, and holders of, or those working towards any relevant accounting qualification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess 3+ years of experience in a relevant role, with advanced VAT knowledge considered a must. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer based on skills and experience, which includes a 13th salary, hybrid working conditions, provident fund, and more! Working hours are from 8:00 - 13:00 & 13:30 - 16:30 on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday and from 8:00 - 14:30 each Wednesday & Friday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Full scope accounting preparation of local and international clients.
- VAT returns preparation and submission.
- Liaison with external authorities.
- Handling of client matters.
- Reporting to Management.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree/Diploma in an accounting or business-related field.
- 3-5 years minimum experience in a similar position.
- ACCA Qualification or Part Qualification will be considered an advantage.
- Advanced VAT knowledge.
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English and Greek speaker.
- High level of professionalism.
- Confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organised and efficient.
- Ability to take initiatives and deliver results.
