Client Accountant
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Client Accountant, you will provide a broad range of accounting and bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients. As part of your role you will prepare VAT and VIES returns, carry out a range of banking reconciliations, and ensure accurate bookkeeping records in the accounting software. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field, and holders of, or those working towards any relevant accounting qualifications are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess at least 1+ year of experience in a relevant position, and knowledge of Intelisoft accounting software is highly desirable. Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is essential. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, and working hours are from 07.30 – 16:00 with flexibility offered.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping on behalf of
clients.
- Preparation of VAT returns,
Income Tax, and VIES.
- Reconciliation of customer and
supplier bank accounts.
- Reconciliation of debtor and
creditor accounts.
- Regular communication with
clients.
- Appropriate filing of relevant
accounting records, in both physical and electronic format.
Key Skills/Experience:
- An academic background relating
to Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar will be considered an
advantage.
- Holders of, or those working
towards any relevant accounting qualifications are encouraged to apply.
- A minimum of 1+ year of
experience in a relevant accounting and bookkeeping position is essential.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
applications.
- Familiarity with Accounting
software, in particular Intelisoft is highly desirable.
- Fluency in both verbal and
written Greek and English.
- Excellent client service
skills.
- A good team player.
