As part of the accounting team, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the provision of various accounting and bookkeeping services to a portfolio of international clients. An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any other similar field is desirable, and you should possess 3+ years of proven experience in a relevant role. Qualified accountants or those working towards any other accounting qualification/certification are encouraged to apply.  Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including organizing and maintaining financial records for international clients.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Manage the general ledger and perform monthly reconciliations of suppliers, customers, banks, and crypto ledgers.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly payroll records, including calculating PAYE, Social Insurance, and tax deductions.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including cash flow statements, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Communicate and correspond with clients.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and coordinate with the CFO.

 

 Key Skills/Experience:

  • A university or college degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is desirable.
  • Qualified accountants or those working towards any other accounting qualification/certification are encouraged to apply.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with QuickBooks accounting software is considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
