Civil Engineer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established company operating in the field of Land Separation & Sales, we are seeking to recruit a Civil Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Civil Engineer, you will handle a range of duties including the preparation of tenders, reviewing land/architectural drawings, and communicating closely with relevant local and government authorities. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Civil Engineering, who are registered members of ETEK. You will need to hold prior experience in a relevant role, and be a confident user of AutoCAD software. An attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th salary, and Provident Fund. Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00 from Monday to Thursday, and from 08:00 – 14:00 each Friday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Preparation of tenders (quantity take-offs and preparation of bills of quantities).
- Identification of project materials.
- Reading and understanding architectural drawings.
- Communication with government authorities.
- Maintaining and updating project records.
- Preparation of drawings in AutoCAD.
- Supervision and coordination of projects.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered with ETEK.
- Prior experience in a relevant role.
- Excellent knowledge and use of AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently under demanding conditions.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
