Civil Engineer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established structural, civil and specialist engineering consultancy based in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Civil Engineer to join their growing team. As a Civil Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for the structural design of buildings and other projects both in Cyprus and the Middle East. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Civil Engineering, who ideally possess proven experience in a relevant position, although full training will be provided and Graduate-Level Engineers are therefore also encouraged to apply. Knowledge of nonlinear analyses along with experience in the restoration of traditional structures and masonry monuments will be considered an additional advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and technical terminology are a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Structural
design of buildings and other projects in Cyprus and the Middle East.
- Supervision
of projects.
- Organize
project kick-off meetings with the clients, estimation, and design
departments.
- Monitoring
the progress of the projects.
- Collaboration
with all company departments to achieve business goals and improve
process.
- Manage
design schedules, site implementation, and material logistics.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Holder
of a Civil Engineering degree.
- Graduate
Engineer or with prior experience in Design Projects.
- Prior
training in Seismic Design using Eurocodes is desirable.
- Knowledge of nonlinear analyses (pushover)
will be considered an additional qualification.
- Knowledge
of BIM software is desirable.
- Knowledge
of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) structural software is a plus.
- Strong
knowledge in the design and analysis of steel structures.
- Experience
in the restoration of traditional structures and masonry monuments will be
considered an additional qualification.
- Excellent command of the English language and technical terminology.
