CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a reputable Property Management company specializing in high-end residential properties in both Cyprus and abroad, we are seeking to recruit a Chief Operating Officer to join their expanding team based in Nicosia. As the Chief Operating Officer, you will drive excellence across the business, focusing on operational and financial performance, premium service delivery, innovation in wellness and quality stay, and deliver key strategic initiatives. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Hospitality, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or another related field, who possess at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a senior operational or strategic role within Real Estate, Hospitality, or Property Management. This role involves inland travelling across Cyprus, as well as occasional travel abroad to meet project and client demands. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring excellence in client service, property owner and tenant satisfaction, and sound asset performance.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a multidisciplinary team across property and wellness functions.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and management accounts.
  • Oversee and monitor key performance metrics and regularly report on property/project statuses.
  • Engage proactively with owners and investors, and other key stakeholders to nurture lasting business relationships, enhance property value, and drive revenue growth through strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate market trends, supply, demand, and pricing dynamics, identifying growth opportunities and service enhancements aligned with the wellness and luxury living concept.
  • Implement and uphold high standards of service for the properties, including preventive maintenance, sustainability practices, and guest/resident wellness experiences.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance and manage risk across the property portfolio.
  • Supervise vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Curate wellness-related offerings and partnerships (e.g., eco-friendly amenities, wellness events) to enhance the property brand and resident experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive property records, ensuring clear communication and information flow.
  • Manage portfolio systems effectively, ensuring listings of available properties are accurately maintained and updated across relevant platforms.
  • Prepare and review property dynamic pricing models.
  • Lead and manage property-related projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Perform property inspections, attend progress meetings, and troubleshoot project issues effectively.
  • Represent the company with professionalism in all client and stakeholder engagements.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Degree in Hospitality, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any other related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience in a senior operational or strategic role within Real Estate, Hospitality, or Property Management.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written).
  • Proven commercial orientation and business development skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Able to manage deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
