Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of all hotel systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, pools, lifts, and kitchen equipment.
• Manage and supervise the engineering and maintenance team, ensuring efficient daily operations.
• Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and local regulatory standards.
• Coordinate renovation projects, upgrades, and technical improvements in collaboration with management and external contractors.
• Monitor energy consumption and operational costs, implementing efficiency initiatives where possible.
• Respond promptly to technical issues to ensure guest comfort and operational continuity.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably gained working in hotels or large hospitality properties.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance planning, and safety regulations.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to manage projects, contractors, and maintenance budgets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
