CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of an enterprise-level payment solution designed to streamline your payment processes effortlessly, we are seeking to recruit a Business Development Specialist (B2B) to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Business Development Specialist, you will primarily be responsible for helping to execute the business development plan by acquiring new customers and merchants. As part of your role, you will also establish, maintain, and develop relationships with existing clients, with a view to maximising revenue generation. Our client is seeking applicants who possess 2+ years of sales and/or business development experience, ideally gained working in the Fintech, Payments, and/or Banking sector. You will need to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and have a demonstrable background excelling in B2B sales. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Expand the business to any online business sector.
  • Execute company’s business development plan by acquiring new customers/merchants.
  • Retaining/maintaining relationships with customers/merchants for accomplishing sales targets.
  • Develop business relationship/potential partnerships with merchants, platforms, service providers, industry associations, medias, and affiliates in cross-border eCommerce.
  • Support and present at marketing events organized by Marketing Department and Business Development Department.
  • Attend events in the cross-border eCommerce industry.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and above is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience of hands-on sales and/or business development toward fintech operators, or with credit card processing providers.
  • Proven track record and high familiarity in global Fintech markets.
  • B2B sales experience is essential.
  • Access to industry related resources is an advantage.
  • Experience in cross-border eCommerce, online B2B, or familiarity with risk control of cross-border transactions is preferred.
  • Excellent English, both verbal and written.
  • Willing to travel, abilities to work independently with a highly self-motivated and innovative mind.
  • High interpersonal skill.
