CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established Engineering Firm that specialise in metal construction projects for both commercial and residential clients, we are seeking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Business Development Executive, you will primarily be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the metal construction sector. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Business Administration, Engineering, or another relevant field, who possess approximately 2+ years of proven Sales and/or Business Development experience gained working in the engineering field. Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the metal construction sector.
  • Create and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase sales and market share.
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing and new clients, with the goal of maximizing revenue.
  • Analyze the market and competitors to adjust sales strategies and develop new products.
  • Collaborate with other company teams, such as production and logistics, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage health and safety documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor project timelines, ensuring the timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure the timely issuance of payment orders to maintain financial flow.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Approximately 2+ years of experience in Business Development and/or Sales in the metal construction industry or a related sector.
  • Proven negotiation and sales skills.
  • Ability to analyse the market and develop strategies.
  • Experience in managing health and safety documents.
  • Ability to monitor and manage project timelines.
  • Experience in issuing payment orders.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional command of English and Greek.
