CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established Law Firm specialized in consulting for digital businesses, fintech companies, and merchant companies, we are seeking to recruit a Banking Administrator to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will handle a variety of banking-related matters for the company, including opening bank accounts, EMI accounts, and merchant/processing accounts for corporate clients, as well as preparing and managing documentation for company formations and corporate structures in Cyprus. An academic background relating to Business, Administration, Finance, or any other relevant field is desirable, and you must possess approximately 1+ years of experience in a similar corporate administration or banking-related role. Strong knowledge of Cyprus corporate procedures and the online Registrar of Companies system is essential, and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and execute the opening of Corporate bank accounts with local and international banks, EMI accounts, Merchant, and payment processing accounts.
  • Liaise with banks, EMIs, and other financial institutions regarding onboarding and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for company formations and corporate structures in Cyprus.
  • Handle name applications and filings with the Cyprus Registrar of Companies, including amendments and restructuring procedures.
  • Communicate with clients professionally, responding promptly to requests and inquiries.
  • Liaise with authorities, associates, and third-party providers when required.
  • Draft, review, and submit corporate forms and supporting documentation.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree relating to Business, Finance, Administration or similar is desirable.
  • Approximately 1+ years of experience in a similar corporate administration or banking-related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus corporate procedures and the online Registrar of Companies system.
  • Ability to understand and work with corporate and legal documentation.
  • Familiarity with corporate compliance, KYC/AML procedures, or Cyprus corporate legislation will be considered a plus.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and high sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritise efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
