CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Corporate Services Provider, we are seeking to recruit a Banking Administrator to join their growing team based in the heart of Nicosia. As a Banking Administrator, you will primarily be responsible for completing the bank account opening process on behalf of clients. As part of your role, you will also assist clients with their day-to-day banking requests, including executing transfers on their behalf. Our client is seeking applicants who possess proven experience in a relevant role, ideally gained working for a Professional Services firm. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and possess excellent client service skills, with strong attention to detail. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Complete the bank account opening process including relevant KYC/Compliance checks on behalf of clients.
  • Consulting with clients regarding bank account opening process and bank options worldwide.
  • Assist clients with their banking requests.
  • Conducting bank reviews for existing clients.
  • Executing bank transfers for clients.
  • Carrying out the relevant bank transaction monitoring processes together with the compliance team.
  • Complete the bank account opening process including relevant KYC/Compliance checks.
  • Assist in developing relationships with new banks, obtain information required to open accounts, develop the process, and communicate to other departments.
  • Maintaining the bank database.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in a Business-related subject (Banking, Finance, Administration) is desirable.
  • Previous experience with the opening of bank accounts in Cyprus and internationally is required.
  • Pro-active with strong organizational skills; multitasking.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong command of written and spoken Greek and English is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Professional and confident.
