CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a regulated Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Back-Office Specialist to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will be responsible for the processing and monitoring of daily client deposits and withdrawals through various PSPs, communicating with banks and payment service providers, assisting with carrying out reconciliations, and more! Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Business Administration, Business, or another related field, with any previous experience in a similar position considered a significant advantage. Fluency in English, both verbal and written is a must, with any knowledge of Spanish considered a plus. Rotational weekly shift patterns apply for this position (08:00 - 17:00 & 16:00 - 00:00).

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Processing and monitoring of daily client’s deposits and withdrawals through different PSPs.
  • Communicating with banks and payment service providers.
  • Assisting in performing reconciliations.
  • Handling other department queries, providing help and assistance as required.
  • Support related to banking transactions.
  • Adhere to all implemented procedures.
  • Preparation of reports, if required.
  • Close cooperation with Compliance on Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Client (KYC) matters.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • An academic background in Business Administration, Business, or similar will be considered a plus.
  • Previous experience will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in English language, both verbal and written is a must.
  • Knowledge of the Spanish language will be considered an advantage.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems and MS Office applications.
  • Willingness and ability to work on rotational shift-patterns.
