Back-Office Officer (Hungarian-Speaking)

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a CySEC regulated Investment Firm with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Back-Office Officer (Hungarian-Speaking) to join their growing team. As a Back-Office Officer, you will be responsible for processing and monitoring client account applications, as well as reviewing and verifying KYC documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or another relevant field, who are fluent in Hungarian to a native level. Previous experience in Back Office, KYC, Compliance, or a similar role within the financial services sector will be considered an advantage, but not essential, and full training will be provided. An outstanding remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes medical insurance and provident fund.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Processing and monitoring client account applications.
  • Reviewing and verifying KYC documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Updating and maintaining internal systems with detailed and accurate information.
  • Liaising with internal departments (Sales, Compliance, Finance) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assisting clients with documentation requests and general account-related queries.
  • Identifying discrepancies and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Performing administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Back Office, KYC, Compliance, or a similar role within the financial sector will be considered an advantage.
  • Native Hungarian, and fluency in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High work ethic and willingness to learn and develop.
