CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As an Auditor, you will primarily be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution and completion of audit engagements, as well as preparing tax computations both for individuals and companies. Our client is seeking candidates who are either part-qualified or have recently obtained a relevant accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA), who possess 2–4 years audit experience in a professional services firm. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and be familiar with CaseWare Audit International. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a 13th salary, Provident Fund, Friday afternoon’s off, a four-day week during the months of July & August, flexible working hours, and more!

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the planning, execution and completion of audit engagements.
  • Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Prepare working papers and contribute to audit file documentation for Partner/Manager review.
  • Preparing Tax computations both for individuals and companies.
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Report to Audit Manager/Supervisor on job progress and key findings.
  • Work effectively on multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • An academic background in a relevant field is desirable.
  • Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years audit experience in a professional services firm.
  • Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Familiarity with CaseWare Audit International is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
