Auditor
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an independent firm of Certified Public Accountants, Auditors and Business Advisors, regulated by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), we are seeking to recruit an Auditor to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As an Auditor, you will primarily be responsible for working as part of a team tasked with performing audit engagements on behalf of a portfolio of both local and international clients. Our client is seeking applicants who possess 2+ years of previous experience in the audit field, and holders of, or those working towards any accounting qualifications are encouraged to apply. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and be a confident user of Caseware software. An attractive salary is on offer based on skills and experience, and working hours are from 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performing
audits for international and local clients.
- Being
part of a team, performing audit workings and tests in accordance with the
firm’s audit methodology and professional standards.
- Planning,
execution, and completion of audits in accordance with IFRSs and ISAs.
- Prepare
financial statements using Caseware.
- Preparation
of all tax forms (IR4, IR7, IR1) using Taxisnet or Caseware.
- Perform
other duties as may be assigned.
Key Skills/Experience:
- An
academic background in a relevant field is desirable.
- Holders
of, or those working towards any accounting qualifications are encouraged
to apply.
- 2+
years of experience in the Audit field is a must.
- Good
knowledge of MS Office.
- Sound
knowledge of Caseware is required.
- Good
knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
- Strong
organisational and communication skills.
- Desire to learn and develop.
