CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of Audit, Accounting, Tax and Advisory Services to clients in a wide range of industry sectors, we are seeking to recruit an Auditor to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will be well organised and comfortable dealing with financial data, with the ability to handle statutory audit work for clients of the company in a fast-paced environment. You will ideally hold at least the LCCI Higher qualification or another relevant accounting qualification/certification, and will need to possess approximately 3 years of previous experience in a relevant role. Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, and any previous experience working with accounting software is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Our client offers a highly attractive remuneration and benefits package which includes a 13th Salary, Provident Fund, Medical Insurance, as well as flexible working hours.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Perform audits of local and international clients.
  • Preparation of financial statements of clients in accordance with IFRS.
  • Preparation of management accounts.
  • Preparation of clients’ tax returns.
  • Work closely and report to the Partner of the firm on results, findings, and client issues.
  • Based on workload you may need to perform accountancy work.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Approximately 3 years of experience in a relevant accounting and audit position is a must.
  • Holder of the LCCI Higher or any other relevant accounting qualification.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to meet work related deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written.
  • Prior experience with Caseware and/or ADA Accounting System will be considered a plus.
