CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of Audit, Tax and Advisory Services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an Audit Supervisor to join their growing team based in Limassol. As an Audit Supervisor you will perform audit engagements for a portfolio of both local and international clients. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field who are either fully qualified, or working towards a professional accounting qualification. You will need to possess proven experience in the audit field, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is available, which includes a generous base salary, private medical insurance, provident fund, and more! Working hours are from 08:00 – 16:30 from Monday to Thursday, and from 08:00 to 15:00 each Friday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Perform audit engagements for the company’s clients.
  • Prepare financial statements.
  • Coordinate various planning phases of the Firms engagements.
  • Establish primary working relationship with clients.
  • Planning, execution, and successful completion of audits in accordance with IFRSs and ISAs.
  • Reporting to Audit Manager regarding status, progress, and completion of audits.
  • Oversee, supervise and provide guidance to less experienced members of the audit team and review their work.
  • Communication with clients via emails/phone.
  • Ensuring that the instructions and decisions of management are adhered at all times.
  • Preparation of clients’ tax returns and tax computations.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Full member of a recognised accounting body, or working towards the qualification.
  • Proven experience in the Audit field.
  • Very good knowledge of ISAs and IFRS.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language, both verbal and written.
  • Team spirit and very responsible person.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills.
  • Strong personality who is able to build relationships with people (staff and particularly associates and clients).
  • Ability to mentor others.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Be very methodical and multitasking individual.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver results and tasks in a timely manner.
