CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established provider of Audit & Accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, we are seeking to recruit an Audit Supervisor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for carrying our audit engagements on behalf of a portfolio both local and international clients. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field, who possess approximately 5+ years of solid audit experience. Holders of, or those working towards a professional accounting qualification are encouraged to apply, and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is essential. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Performing audits of local and international clients and preparing complete audit files for review.
  • Support the accounting department in challenging tasks.
  • Supervise less experienced Team members.
  • Tax computations, preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Tax clearance engagements.
  • Ad hoc advisory project.
  • Reporting to Management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance or a related field.
  • Approximately 5+ years of solid audit experience.
  • Knowledge of Caseware Audit International is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge in accounting and VAT.
  • Knowledge of Taxisnet, Tax Portal and TaxForAll platforms.
  • Initiative and critical thinking.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English.
  • Ability to deliver results and meet deadlines.
  • Good team player.
