CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Law Firm with offices in Larnaca, we are seeking to recruit an Associate Lawyer to join their growing Transactional Law team. As an Associate Lawyer, you will be exposed to a range of legal matters, including M&A, Corporate Advisory, and Finance. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Law, who are ideally full members of the Cyprus Bar Association. Any previous experience in Transactional Law will be considered a significant advantage, although full training will be provided, and junior-level legal candidates with excellent academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. This represents an excellent opportunity for an aspiring legal professional to learn and develop within a fast-paced, rewarding, and inclusive environment.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents
  • Undertake legal due diligence
  • Research and drafting legal memorandums and legal opinions
  • Ongoing communication with clients and instructing international law firms
  • Reviewing and negotiating key legal documents, such as sale and purchase agreements etc…
  • Corporate law advice, with a focus on the Cyprus Companies Law with respect to cross-border mergers and conversions/redomiciliations.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • An LLB from a well-respected University.
  • Holders of an LLM are encouraged to apply.
  • Members of the Cyprus Bar Association are encouraged to apply.
  • Any previous experience in Transactional Law is highly desirable, although full training will be provided.
  • Fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic team player.
