Android Developer (Remote)
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a High Technology company that developed and published a cutting-edge fitness mobile application, we are seeking to recruit an Android Developer to join their new team based in Cyprus on a fully remote basis. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Android applications. You will collaborate closely with our product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences to users. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related field, who possess approximately 4+ years of experience developing Native Android apps. Any prior experience in iOS development will be considered a significant advantage. A highly attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, along with fully remote working options within Cyprus.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Kick-start
a new era for Android apps.
- Bringing
features from a very successful iOS app to Android.
- Maintain
a high output of feature development.
- Collaborate
with the Mobile, Product and Design teams.
- Actively
take ownership of what you're doing and achieve the best possible result
for users.
Key Skills/Experience:
- An
academic background in relevant field such as Computer Science is highly
desirable.
- Approximately
4+ years of experience developing Native Android apps.
- Independent,
and passionate about building great products.
- Commitment
to high quality with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience
in iOS development will be considered a significant advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
