CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-standing Engineering & Construction Firm with international operations, we are seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to support their Legal Team. Based in Nicosia, you will handle a range of administrative duties to support a busy legal department. As part of your role, you will maintain up-to-date records, which include files, contracts lists, and legal documents, as well as manage and amend documents such as Power of Attorneys, Meeting Minutes, and obtain the required signatures. Our client is seeking applicants who possess approximately 2+ years of experience in a relevant administrative role, with any experience working for a law firm or corporate services provider considered an advantage. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written English, with knowledge of Greek considered an advantage. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Provides administrative support to assigned team members in the legal department.
  • Schedules for a wide variety of activities (e.g. appointments, meetings, travel arrangements etc.).
  • Greeting and assisting visitors or clients.
  • Serving as a point of contact between staff, clients, and other departments.
  • Maintains up-to-date records, which include files, contracts list, legal documents, correspondence etc...
  • Prepares banking forms, KYC documents, compliance documents, liaising with banks.
  • Manages and amends documents such as Power of Attorneys, Minutes of Meetings and obtains the required signatures.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • An academic background in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or similar will be considered an advantage.
  • Approximately 2+ years of experience in administration, secretarial and clerical jobs.
  • Paralegal administrative working experience in a legal office will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, and proficiency in Greek is considered an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and problem solving.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
