CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an established company operating in the Engineering & Construction sector, we are seeking to recruit an Accounting Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. As an Accounting Officer within the Warehouse Operations Team, you will play a key role in managing supplier invoices, inventory control, and procurement coordination. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field of study, and holders of the LCCI Higher accounting certification are encouraged to apply. You will need to possess approximately 5+ years of experience in a relevant position, with strong knowledge of ERP Systems and Warehouse Operations. You will need to be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English, and be an advanced user of MS Excel. An attractive remuneration package is on offer based on skills and experience, and working hours are from 08:00 – 16:30 from Monday to Thursday and from 08:00 – 14:00 each Friday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Entry of all supplier invoices into the ERP/system.
  • Verification of invoice quantities against delivery notes.
  • Informing the warehouse manager of discrepancies/shortages.
  • Filing of invoices & supporting documents.
  • Daily monitoring of warehouse balances via ERP (SAP).
  • Updating the system with Store-In/Store-Out where required.
  • Assisting in stock reconciliation between system records & physical quantities.
  • Preparation of monthly supplier payment statements.
  • Reconciliation of invoice balances & credit notes.
  • Preparation of supplier payment files (batch/SEPA where applicable).
  • Recording payments in the system & updating the vendor ledger.
  • Providing documents & reports for Audit/Finance when requested.
  • Preparing purchase requests/orders based on stock levels and demand, and tracking deliveries.
  • Matching sales orders/purchase orders reconciling sales orders with corresponding purchase orders and delivery notes; identifying and resolving discrepancies in quantities, prices, or delivery dates.
  • Maintaining accurate records updating stock, filing sales and purchase documents, and ensuring signed supporting documents are available for audits.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • LCCI Higher and/or Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in accounting entry of invoices and document verification.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or similar) and warehouse operations.
  • Understanding of stock movement and inventory control processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills (including SUMIF, pivot tables, and monthly reporting).
  • Excellent command of Greek and English.
  • Clean criminal record certificate.
  • Strong organizational skills and structured thinking.
  • Professional communication skills and attention to detail.
