Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, transaction recording, reconciliations, and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
• Supervision, coaching, and provision of support to junior team members.
• Review/Preparation and authorize VAT returns, VIES forms, and other statutory submissions.
• Prepare and analyse management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
• Liaise with local authorities and external stakeholders, as needed.
• Provide clients with guidance and advice on accounting, VAT, and compliance issues.
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
• Responsibility for the timely billing and collection of fees from clients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field.
• Approximately 5+ years of experience in Accounting Department of an Audit firm.
• Qualified ACA/ACCA.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Cyprus tax legislation, and VAT regulations.
• Knowledge of eSoft accounting software will be considered as an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
