Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Record transactions, process journal entries, and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Record invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Perform reconciliations of control accounts, including bank, debtor, and creditor accounts.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns and provisional corporate income tax computations.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and assist during external audits.
• Provide general support with ad-hoc accounting tasks and special projects as needed.

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree or Diploma in Accounting, or a related field, or holder of LCCI Higher in Accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office. Experience with computerized accounting software, familiarity with Microsoft Navision will be considered an advantage.
• Good understanding of VAT and tax-related issues.
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Fluent in English.
