CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a boutique Tax, Audit and Business Advisory Firm with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a number of ACCA Trainees to join their growing Audit and Tax departments. Our client is seeking applicants who are keen to forge a career in either the Audit or Tax fields, who are committed to obtaining the ACCA qualification. You will ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant field of study (Accounting, Finance, Economics) and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. An outstanding remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a competitive base salary, performance-related bonus, 13th salary, provident fund, hybrid working options, and more! Working hours are 08:30 – 17:30 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 08:30 – 14:30 each Wednesday, and 08:30 – 15:30 each Friday.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Active involvement in various stages of audit or tax assignments under the supervision of experienced professionals.
  • Utilization of Caseware International audit tool for conducting audits under ISA.
  • Preparation of financial statements under IFRS using Caseware software.
  • Compilation of tax computations.
  • Regular reporting to the management team on audit status and progress.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Possession of a university degree in any field of study (Accounting, Finance, Economics).
  • Keen to pursue the ACCA professional qualification.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent command of both English and Greek languages.
  • Demonstrated ambition and commitment to establishing a career as a professional accountant.
  • Professional discipline with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong client and business development skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Annual gross salary (including a 13th salary) of €16,900.
