Junior Systems Administrator
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an award-winning data centre services and server hosting provider with expanding operations in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Systems Administrator to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Junior Systems Administrator, you will collaborate with our client’s Technical Support Team for day-to-day infrastructure management activities, as well as for customers technical support and maintenance needs. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Computer Science, Engineering or other closely related fields, who are familiar with computer and server hardware. You will need to be passionate about technology, and have a willingness to learn new skills and develop. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek & English are a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor Servers, Network and
Infrastructure Status and escalate incidents accordingly.
- Assist in Customer support for
Level-1 technical inquiries.
- Provide help and support during
the installation and provisioning of new hardware, products, and services.
- Assist with the administration
of the company’s Inventory system.
- Assist with logistics of IT
equipment deliveries at global Data Centres.
- Liaise with other departments
within the company to support customers.
Key Skills/Experience:
- An academic background in
Computer Science, Engineering or another closely related field is highly
desirable.
- Familiarity with computer and
server hardware.
- Excellent professional written
& oral communication skills in both English and Greek.
- Passion for technology and
willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic knowledge of Networking
will be considered a plus.
