CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join their growing team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing various areas of compliance and will perform monitoring activities, develop comprehensive materials, and process documentation to support training initiatives in compliance matters as needed. Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in Law, Finance, Business, Economics, or another relevant field, who possess approximately 2 years of relevant experience as a Compliance Officer or a similar role within the FX industry. You will need to possess strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards, and any relevant CySEC, AML or ACAMs certifications will be considered an advantage. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee various areas of compliance and perform monitoring activities.
  • Develop comprehensive materials and process documentation to support training initiatives in compliance matters as needed.
  • Ensure the quality of compliance activities, meeting established standards, and adhering to relevant deadlines.
  • Provide valuable feedback data in relation to the monitoring activities to the Head of Department.
  • Assist in addressing and fulfilling any regulatory requirements related to the Company.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Law/Finance/Economics/Business or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Compliance Officer or a similar position in the FX industry.
  • CySEC Advanced, CySEC AML or ACAMS certificates will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Fluent in English language (verbal & written).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality assurance.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong critical & logical thinking.
  • Analysis & research skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
