In-house Lawyer
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established International Marketing company with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit an In-house Lawyer to join their growing team based in Cyprus. With operations in Limassol, our client is able and willing to offer fully remote working conditions for this position. The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of legal duties, including the drafting and reviewing of contracts, providing legal opinion relating to both corporate and commercial legal issues, as well as drafting internal legal policies and procedures. You will need to possess an academic background in Law, be a qualified lawyer and hold approximately 3 years of post-qualification experience in the areas of corporate and commercial law. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Drafting
and reviewing contracts.
- Negotiating
contracts.
- Drafting
policies and procedures.
- Advising
on corporate and commercial legal matters.
- Advising
on employment law issues
- Drafting
employment agreements.
- Maintaining
and updating records.
- Assisting
and monitoring bank and EMI opening procedures.
- Any
other relevant duties as assigned by Management.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Holder
of an LLB from a well-respected University.
- An LLM
will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
- A
qualified lawyer in Cyprus, or another highly regarded jurisdiction.
- 3+
years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
- Excellent
verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.
- Able to
work well independently, with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail.
