CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a highly respected, expanding Law Firm with offices in Paphos, we are seeking to recruit a Banking Administrator to join their growing team. The successful applicant will handle a variety of banking-related matters on behalf of the Company and its Clients, including the opening of bank accounts with both local and international banks, assisting clients with various banking enquiries, as well as the preparation and execution of payment orders/transfers. An academic background relating to Business, Administration, Finance, or any other relevant field is desirable, and you must possess some previous experience in a relevant role, ideally working either for a Law Firm, Corporate Service Provider and/or Banking Institution. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek & English are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Opening of bank accounts, with all major well-known banks in Cyprus and Overseas for Cyprus and other international jurisdictions.
  • Assist clients with their banking enquiries.
  • Obtain details from a client and prepare a Bank Summary, presenting the business successfully to local and international banks, with minimum supervision.
  • Consulting with clients regarding bank account opening process and bank options worldwide
  • Complete the bank account opening process.
  • Assist in developing relationships with new banks, obtain information required to open accounts, develop the process, and communicate to other departments.
  • Maintaining the banking database internally.
  • Documentation of general meetings.
  • Preparation of International Business Unit Bank Payment orders/transfers.

 Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree relating to Business, Finance, Administration or similar is desirable.
  • Previous banking experience opening bank accounts in Cyprus and internationally is required and essential.
  • Pro-active with strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong command of written and spoken Greek and English is essential.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Professional and confident.
