Junior Auditor
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Audit & Accounting services to both local and international clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Audit to join their growing team based in Nicosia. With supervision and guidance from more experienced team members, the successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA). You will need to possess a University Degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar) and any previous experience in the Audit profession is highly desirable, although Recent Graduates are also encouraged to apply. Our client is seeking candidates who have either commenced the ACA/ACCA qualification, or are willing to do so. Fluency in both Greek & English is essential.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carrying
out simple audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on
Auditing.
- Assistance
in the evaluation of audit risks and formulation of responses for more
complex audit engagements.
- Ensuring
work is prepared in accordance with the Firm’s methodology and standards.
- Preparation
of Statutory Financial Statements.
- Preparation of tax computations and tax returns.
Key Skills/Experience:
- University
degree in a relevant field e.g. Accounting, Finance, Economics.
- Will
start or have recently started ACCA/ACA qualification courses.
- Previous
accounting experience in an accounting/audit firm is highly desirable.
- Fluent
in written and spoken Greek and English.
- Outstanding
communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge
of CaseWare or related software will be considered a plus.
- Attention
to detail and results oriented.
- Diligent,
methodical, devoted and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A team player with pleasant personality.
