CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a pioneering provider of technology-related products and services to the Construction & Engineering sectors, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Executive to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from initial prospect engagement, through to closing new business opportunities. You will engage with prospects via discovery meetings, sales presentations, demos and proposals to present our clients’ suite of products designed to automate processes and improve operational efficiencies. You will need to possess proven experience in a similar new business development role with a track record of meeting and ideally exceeding designated sales targets. Any previous experience working in the construction sector and/or technology sales will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a prospect to closing a deal.
  • Perform web-based and in-person training and demonstrations.
  • Actively manage daily responsibilities to grow existing and new accounts such as cold calls, discovery meetings, sales presentations, demos, and proposals.
  • Establish strong relationships with strategic contacts within EMEA to retain and grow existing revenue and identify, propose, and close new opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for customers by providing insights and recommendations to help them choose a digital solution that is more suitable to their needs.
  • Maintain and grow a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects to accurately forecast and hit sales goals.
  • Find creative ways to acquire new business and develop new and existing customers.
  • Grow into an expert in the construction technology market and know the competitive landscape inside out.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Approximately 5+ years of Sales experience (quota-carrying and consistently exceeding targets).
  • A knack for working well with a wide range of people (external and internal); a natural relationship builder.
  • Ability to build clear, concise presentations.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
  • Metrics-driven mindset.
  • Experience in construction, specifically construction technology sales is a big plus.
