Role Overview:
To facilitate communication with business stakeholders
and provide full lifecycle support for projects. The IT Project Manager
should be able to take business prioritization and deadlines for projects and
tasks along with tracking their progress and present frequent updates to
Stakeholders. The IT Project Manager will have full ownership of the running
and maintenance of the Company’s Project Steering Group.
Key
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the Project
Steering Group including:
Chairing Steering Committee, Collection of Business Cases and regular
Project updates.
- Implement
and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs,
project evaluations and assessment of results throughout the post project
deployment.
- Take
the primary lead on the process of issue identification and resolution.
- Manage
the completion and communication of all documentation.
- Work on
multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently.
- Manage
the day-to-day project activities.
- Close monitoring
of the project tasks and resources.
- Provides
status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies,
risks, and issues, communicating across leadership.
- Delegate
tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel and/or departments.
- Deliver
multiple projects of varying complexity and size.
Key
Skills/Experience:
- Preferable
degree in Computing, IT and
relevant work experience in Project Management.
- Excellent
organizational and project management skills.
- Experienced
in Agile, Confluence, MS Project and JIRA.
- Strong
resource planning and management.
- Must be
able to understand technical concepts and be numerate.
- Experienced
in Change Management.
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven
ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving
environment, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and
interpersonal skills.
- Flexible with proven ability to conform to
shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and
problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to communicate across the various
business hierarchies.
- Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a
fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and demanding
deadlines.
- Experience
leading, motivating, and managing various project team sizes, including
internal and external resources, while holding teams accountable for
performance.
- A team
player and people person.
