CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Investment Firm with offices across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team based in Limassol. The successful applicant will play a vital role in the preparation of various financial reports for the company, including analysing and supporting monthly, quarterly and annual financial processes, including reporting, cash and hedging, variance analysis and strategic planning. You will ideally hold a relevant academic background relating to Finance/Economics/Accounting or related field and possess approximately 2+ years of professional experience within a similar Financial Analysis position. Excellent Excel skills are a must, as well as fluency in both written and spoken English.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • In charge of financial reports preparation.  
  • Downloading and processing data from multiple sources.
  • Leading the process of comparison of the feeds between banks and PSPs.
  • Oversee the daily PSP report. 
  • Develop automated accounting applications and processes to improve productivity.
  • Support the Finance Team with various data analytics.
  • Analyse and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes, including reporting, cash and hedging, variance analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track key performance metrics and monitor business performance, highlighting early indicators of trends to the business.
  • Build and maintain financial models and analysis.

 Key Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • Approximately 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst and/or working within a Bank or PSP in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Excel is a must.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills, detail oriented, self-motivated and organized.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Good communication and presentation skills – verbal and oral.
  • Ability to prioritize task, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
