CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Service Provider with offices in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to join their expanding team of professionals. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for overseeing and reviewing payroll payments and account reconciliations as well as managing and resolving any issues related to payroll. You will hold approximately 4+ years of relevant experience within a Payroll focused role and will ideally hold some international experience with Payroll, although this is not essential. Outstanding communication skills in English (Written & Spoken) are essential.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Supervising the payroll team and assigning duties.
  • Directing the collection, computing, and documentation of payroll data.
  • Overseeing and reviewing payroll payments and account reconciliations, such as all payments, payslip generation, invoice finalisation, checking of all payroll related compliance, leave management, making of tax sheets, checking final payment and recording of payslips.
  • Ensuring records and processes comply with company and legal regulations.
  • Coordinating with Contracts and CSM teams to verify Contractors data and accounts.
  • Maintaining accurate account balances and detailed records for auditing.
  • Monitoring payroll team performance and training new staff.
  • Managing and resolving any issues related to payroll.
  • Preparing reports and financial statements.
  • Finalisation of payment and invoicing and cross-checking of Internal and external systems.
  • Checking of simulation when received.
  • Coordinate with an accountant and assist CSM in answering technical queries.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Educated to degree level in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Approximately 4+ years of relevant experience Payroll processing and/or accounting.
  • Previous managerial or supervisory experience is considered a plus, but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legal regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong maths and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential (Written & Spoken).
  • Any previous experience with International Payroll will be considered a significant advantage, but not essential.
