CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding Real Estate and Asset Management Firm with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a Real Estate Valuation Manager to join their expanding team. The successful applicant will ideally hold 6+ years of relevant experience as a Property Valuer and will possess an excellent knowledge of the local property market here in Cyprus. Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English are a must. Holders of the MRICS are encouraged to apply.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Structuring, execution and ongoing monitoring of Real Estate underwriting projects.
  • Preparing detailed projections of returns of various scenarios to access which strategy optimises returns.
  • Overseeing complex capex and builds out projects from a strategic and commercial perspective.
  • Monitoring NPE’s Underwriting and its collateral. Active participation in a wide variety of analysis, valuation audits, valuation reviews for collateral and financial reporting purposes.
  • Assisting portfolio reviews and asset due diligences.
  • Leading quality reviews and strategies of various U/W projects.
  • Overseeing the delegation of work to analysts in the team that you will manage.
  • Ensuring the team meets performance/ KPI targets.
  • Monitoring compliance with policies and standards.
  • Maintaining close contact and assign work to external consultants in line with the existing action plan.
  • Liaising and coordinates with other teams internally for the execution of actions, as part of the agreed asset action plans, and/or the asset disposal team to ensure the assets are placed in the market.
  • Developing recommendations to support key asset monetisation/ financing decisions.
  • Participating in management meetings and eventually became a member of the senior executive committee.
  • Providing senior management with asset management reports.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • University degree in Finance, Real Estate or any other related field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • MRICS/CFA qualified will be consider as an advantage.
  • Strong background and understanding of Real Estate asset management practices including budgets, operations, and maintenance.
  • Excellent knowledge of the local property market.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (written and spoken).
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Great communication and problem solving skills.
  • Commitment to delivering highest quality.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
