Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Take
ownership of the Purchasing/Buying lifecycle for a busy FMCG start-up.
- Ensuring
new verticals reach their goals, and grow with the help of our strategy
and tools.
- Communicating,
cooperating and negotiating with importers, distributors &
manufacturers.
- Monitoring
sales performance and analyzing data.
- Understanding
the market and suggesting optimal inputs for effective promotional
activities, trends and strategy.
- Conducting
price audits and cooperating with the team to determine competitive
pricing.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Ideally
educated to Degree level in Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous,
demonstrable experience in the FMCG Sector as Purchasing Specialist and/or
Buyer.
- Excellent
communication skills in Greek & English are a must.
- Excellent
negotiation skills and overall commercial awareness.
- An
excellent eye for detail and a passion for product innovation.
- An
excellent Team Player who can deliver under pressure and meet tight
deadlines.
- Strong
over PC skills are highly advantageous.
