Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate
with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the
project.
- Negotiate
contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
- Making
sure that all the aims of the project are met, as well as providing advice
during the phases of the project to ensure deadlines will be met and
agreeing project objectives from the points of view both of engineering
and of the client’s needs.
- Supervise
the work of Engineers, Consultants, Contractors etc. and give them
guidance when needed.
- Evaluate
progress and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure
adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
Key Skills/Experience:
- BSc/BA
in Engineering, Building Science or relevant field.
- Very
good knowledge of Greek and English language.
- 5+
years of experience in Civil Engineering & Construction Project
Management.
- Comfortable
understanding of Design Drawings (Architectural, Civil, MEP etc.),
Engineering and Architectural principles.
- Understanding
of “Value Engineering” principle and methods and how these are affecting
the budget and the time schedule.
- Understanding
of basic construction procedures and material and project management
principles.
- Familiarity
with quality and health and safety standards.
- Good
knowledge of MS Office, Autocad.
- Familiarity
with construction/ project management software.
- Outstanding
communication and negotiation skills.
- A
“Hand’s On” approach on tasks is considered as essential.
